Proxy Brochures

The biggest shareholders in publicly traded companies are generally institutions, such as pension funds, mutual funds and investment banks. But, when it comes to shareholder resolutions and voting shares, the institutional investors don’t necessarily hold all the power. There are times when the retail shareholders, “the individual investors”, can be influential and change a voting outcome regarding board elections and issues that may affect the value of the stock or the direction a company takes. A fair amount of FGI’s work in this area centers on reaching the retail shareholder.

FGI has partnered with some of the largest companies in the world to help them speak directly to their individual shareholders. Improving communication with investors and earning their trust starts with transparency – precise, plain English – presented in a clear, accessible manner. FGI helps companies create engaging proxy brochures and websites, as well as online and offline advertising. Our goal is to prioritize important information, emphasize key messages and brand identities, and turn standard disclosures and announcements into effective communications.
