Penpoint Specialty

FGI collaborated closely with our long-term client Ambac Financial Group, a financial services holding company, to create a new brand identity for Penpoint Specialty, a managing general agent under Ambac’s umbrella of insurance distribution services. Offering insurance products for human services organizations, the challenge was to create a visual identity highlighting the company’s engaging and welcoming style and to develop a symbol that would stand on its own and, through color and form, work across a variety of print and digital applications.

The design team worked on a range of design directions and landed on a custom mark that focuses on the lowercase “p" that acts as the main symbol and versatile anchor for the brand. The identity is accompanied by a bright and vibrant color palette that supports our client’s business, culture, goals, and vision, and is used extensively throughout various infographics, social media, and collateral and marketing communications. The newly crafted identity and system is designed to be flexible as the company continues to evolve, expand and grow.
